I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of International Studies & Modern Languages at the University of St. Thomas. I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Houston. My research focuses on political behavior, public opinion, and political psychology in both Taiwan and the United States, with a particular emphasis on independent voters. I am also deeply interested in survey and experimental design methodologies.

My dissertation focuses on independents in the United States, exploring how they perceive information, make voting decisions, and their attitudes over time.
I hold an MA in Political Science from Stony Brook University, an MA in Political Science from National Chengchi University in Taipei, and a BA in Public Administration and Policy from National Taipei University
